Much like Redd, Groves can really run and arrives angry at the point of attack. SEC speed and very physical.
Same for Antwan Smith. Kind of using the Matt Rhule recruiting philosophy, get good athletes with good measurables who maybe haven't excelled on the field yet & develop their football skills.
That works when you have a staff that can develop kids like we do. OTOH, I’ve seen bad staffs destroy some kids with tons of potential. Then again, we’ve all seen guys with next level potential destroy their careers by doing stupid things that 18-22 yo kids do or not buying in to the program.

To me, getting more fast guys and more high quality QB depth is the two things that should move us up a notch. It looks like they addressing those two things now with the speed of the LB's they are getting in this class and not settling for just one highly rated QB but two if Saunders comes through.
Speed helps eliminate space… Got to have coverage all over the field in todays offenses that like to spread you out…
