People have no grasp of history because we don’t teach it anymore. Eventually the “accepted” race to hate will be a minority, and we’ve all seen throughout history what happens when society embraces hate of a certain race. People that promote this stuff need to be brought back in 150 years to see the next wave of genocide that they helped create and put on their future families.

This is a myth. I hate what these academics have done with the educational part of college, but in most places, you have to have it. It’s not even in question. Towns under 150,000 are factory towns that are about to dry up. Technology is going to change everything. Unless you have a crazy good free market idea, or are good at stocks, you can forget climbing the tree without a degree. It’s unfortunate but that’s how it is.
A good friend of mine was laughed at for majoring in Social Work. I laughed lol.
He’s now a therapist making more than any of us with an office job that he works 6 hours per day 4 days per week and has his own practice opening for family therapy.
Love to see that happen without a college degree.

There are many fields and corporate careers that require 4 year degrees, one way or the other. Argue that those 4 year degrees don’t help with those careers all you want, but when you sit down for your interview with the hiring manager “I just googled stuff” isn’t going to get you the job.
I guess it was a poor choice of words on my part. I agree with you, the system is flawed, that’s what I was getting at. I have a degree, it’s helped me land most of my jobs but I could’ve done those jobs without it. Unnecessary step but unfortunatly because of our society, it’s crucial to have.

Nope, I read and I experience a lot of what I say. I am lucky in that I get to travel. Our health care is ranked 54 in the world. Our education is ranked in the 30s. We are first in murder rates, incarceration and drug problems. Climate is an issue , not because of cable news but because of science and I mean dead accurate science. Unlike you, I do not go by our orange balloon presidents gut feeling.
Seriously. Take a few minutes to see how much Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Walmart, GE etc. etc . and etc. paid in taxes. After scooping in billions, they actually received refunds. True American, take the corporations side . You need to change your avatar pilgrim.

I'm not a Repub, but I agree 100%. I have a college fund for my kids, and if they tell me they want to major in Art History, Humanities, Sociology, or Classical English Literature, I'm not paying for it.
Get a degree in business, education, engineering, finance, communications, etc., and I'll support it. I'm not paying for them to dick around for 4 years.
