This is a myth. I hate what these academics have done with the educational part of college, but in most places, you have to have it. It’s not even in question. Towns under 150,000 are factory towns that are about to dry up. Technology is going to change everything. Unless you have a crazy good free market idea, or are good at stocks, you can forget climbing the tree without a degree. It’s unfortunate but that’s how it is.

A good friend of mine was laughed at for majoring in Social Work. I laughed lol.

He’s now a therapist making more than any of us with an office job that he works 6 hours per day 4 days per week and has his own practice opening for family therapy.

Love to see that happen without a college degree.

I've done it twice. My former boss left for an SVP job and one of my former proteges recently got a director gig ($150k/year). All of us HS educated but run circles around most in our field when it comes to results.

Go read how Henry Ford got started and it will hopefully enlighten you in duplicating your efforts. It works in most any industry. You make money when you can duplicate effort. You pay less taxes when you provide others a way to make an income. Enough for free...
