New Coach

After todays massive "sources shitting the bed" episode, I could really give a rats *** who the new coach is. With that being said, just give me Turner Gill. Anyone who wins 8 games in a season coaching at Buffalo with a possible 9th win at a bowl is fine in my book....Gill, Bowden, Graham, or even Dooley, the expectations are back to being low again. Actually a good thing for the new coach.

Buffalo has had one of those charmed seasons. I wouldn't offer him a job until he proves he can back it up. Nate Davis fumbled it 4 times last night causing at least a 21 point swing, maybe more. Don't get me wrong. Winning at all at Buffalo is a good accomplishment, but I'd like to see him back it up for another year or two before I'd say he's ready for a BCS job.

Croom would still be below average. I'm not saying I'd pick Turner Gill over most other coaches but winning a league championship with this program is a pretty impressive achievement. Gill took over a complete loser in that league and won that league in 3 years. The "they don't play anybody" argument doesn't fit.
