I'm so glad that we're set to build something the right way the first time instead of just slapping some concrete together, putting seats on it, and calling it done.

I can't wait for the day to see the expansion built in place and standing. I also can't wait to see dorman blown away so it doesn't randomly continue to pop up in these videos and images.

How awesome would it be if you were able to have grills up there like the Dude?

so you could tailgate up there, the way Stricklin was talking when showing that particular area.

From the pictures and video it appears that the west side is staying the same. I could be wrong but I thought we were going to renovate it at the same time.

I love it. It adds just a few thousand seats, not a ridiculous number we have to try and fill. Also, it adds to the experience without diminishing the historical value and innate character of Scott Field at Davis-Wade Stadium. Awesome and thoughtful job. Brav-17ing-o.

Everything else looks perfect. Love the open concourse, premium seating and exterior facade. However, that extra jumbotron looks bad from the outside. Just looks like a random wall jutting up from an otherwise beautiful exterior. Do we really need another display that large? It is just overkill to me. I would prefer two smaller screens tucked in the corners of the expansion.

the northend-zonelooksawesomeand the currentjumbo-tronis too damn big as it is, we don't need another one that big. I like the idea of having two smaller ones in the corners.

Two smaller ones would be fine as long as they're not too small, a la Alabama. Theirs are too small to see what's happening. Same with Georgia.<div>
</div><div>The way the conceptual video is, I could see it having some wind issues. The huge one in the south endzone has some pretty major structure supporting it; not so sure one almost as big on top of the seats in the north would be that well supported.</div>

I think by 2014 when the expansion is expected to bedone by adding maybe somewhere between 5 to 8 thousand seats, andif we have 2 more bowl victories with two 7 or 8 win seasons, we should expect to bring in 60Keasilyfor home games. Well where the hell are those people going to park? Can you imagine bringing 10 thousand more people on our campus without a parking deck? I had heard it was in the 20 year planmaybe 4 or 5 years agobut haven't heard anything on it since then. Anyone know of anything related to how we might accomodate the extra people we expect to be on campus?

planning to build a parking garage on the old Suttle Hall site. I don't know the time frame though. I also heard that after they tore it down and cleaned up the debris, they liked the view provided by that open area so the garage plans may have been scrapped.

and the master plan shows new residence halls built like Zacharis Village on the Suttle site. The new classroom building is going to be something -- four parking levels and five of classrooms, Gonna be first class and looking good,,,

I agree that the north video board distracts from the beautiful facade of the structure. However, we need a northern video board for the southern most sections of the stadium. It is quite the viewing angle of the southern video board from seats inside the 20 on the south end. Also if at some point we add a section(s) on to the south end, no way you can see that south video board from those seats.
