This summer in general has been awful. My wife has actually been in the mood to go see a movie in the theatre this summer (which she is never in), and so I've been excited and looked at movies and absolutely nothing has looked even interesting. Where the hell are all the summer action blockbusters? Everything has been awful. We actually ended up going to see Finding Dory this weekend because everything else looked so bad.

Thanks. I had no clue about the Dr Doom. I know Spiderman has had a few changes.

Comics in general have run out of stuff so they have to go crazy. Just wait til this crazy seeps into the movies as right now they are adapting their classic 40-50 year old versions of the heroes.

They have yet to get Dr Doom right in any movie. Top 5 Marvel villain and can't even do him justice.

Just when you thought Marvel couldn't get more PC... there's also a Black Female version of Captain America, who was recently beating up a Donald Trump-inspired Villain.

FYI, they had Wolverine and Hercules being a gay couple, a while back. Some alternate universe kind of story... but it was still Wolver-friggin-rine, for crying out loud.

Hollywood has absolutely zero creativity today. You either get politically and socially motivated crap or some remake of an old concept that been redone so many timed it's become intolerable.

Is it really that hard to create a new super hero? Where are all the great creators and directors?

Hollywood hasn't been good in decades. Just remake something popular and put it out. Trash.

I propose TrigglyPuff the SJW as the newest super hero. Hollywood can make movies about her efforts to curtail hate speech, misogyny, and the lack of safe spaces for right thinking people.

All the females dragged their boyfriends, husbands and girlfriends to the first weekend, no one else will go. It came up on Kodi so the kids wanted to watch it. I fell asleep halfway through, it was terrible.
