Rumor has it the GW Maroons will have a new football coach this coming season. Anyone else hear this? Apparently the current coach is leaving and the OC will take over as the head coach.

The sad part is u could bring in Bill Belichick and half the people in wytheville are gonna whine about it. I still don’t understand why people turned on Harner? His record should speak for itself...
Totally agree. They live in a fantasy world thinking their kids are all D1 players and they should’ve won state for two years. Reality is those players were D3 material and no one was beating Riverheads.
Well said but beating riverhead is the last thing the roons need to be worried about. There are many more things that need to be addressed in the system right now. Might have to be the Little Brother of wythe county for a while to think about where this all went wrong! Can’t imagine that people hate the coach with the stats he has. Taking all of that into account, who would really want the job as head puppet at GW?
Thats Better than the alternative for sure...no need to run off a guy for being successful really! GW gonna take a few lumps here and there I’m sure but GW needs to realize that times have changed. Best of luck this year.
