My favorite part was there was no croom uniform sighting

I swear those 17ing things just piss me off every time I see them.

Awesome video

Hard for me to get excited about this game. It's like playing Vandy again.

This game is going to be the reverse of last year.

Not going to be a happy Saturday evening for the board.

I don't understand your thought process. What does Ole Miss have to play for besides being the spoiler? They have injuries in key places, and we are a horrible matchup for them.

It's rugb. Just let him post in peace. It will work out.

The rugbdawg reverse jinx is like abstract art. Not everyone understands or appreciates it.

You're right. Not one clip from the '05 or '07 victories.

Some good highlights in those games, but I guess it's best we just don't go there.

Freeze said "He's hungry and wants to play in this game in a bad way". Well, let's hope so.

Loved the visuals, the music was terrible....

hit or miss....

The Pre-Alabama and post LSU were awesome but the Kentucky one, this one and the Alabama funeral videos have been cringe worthy. Again.... it's not the editing or the video, the music has been horrible on a couple and the tone of the Alabama post game video was just depressing.

You only like rap, we get it.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I loved the ones you deemed "cringe-worthy."

I disagree with this.

Ole Miss matches up alright with us. Our secondary is our weak point and they throw the ball to create offense. On the other side of the ball we have a favorable matchup but they can sell out on the run since our passing game is good but not great. They can play us like Alabama did and have a lot of success.

It really depends on if Dak comes to play his a-game. If so, we win and probably fairly big.

I have always been curious...

Might as well ask... what songs would you want us to consider when we do these? A lot of this is very fluid in terms of the process. Meaning, I can come up with 5 ideas before a game, 5 different ones during the game, then 5 more after the fact. Until I sit down and start putting something down, those ideas become almost irrelevant.

That said, there's been a few times where I've "committed" to an idea or a song and just went with it. So... I'd like to hear what you think on specific songs or types of songs.

Do you like the big, dramatic, "movie trailer" type stuff? Popular music? Movie/TV show quotes sprinkled in?

we will win

Not going to be a happy Saturday evening for the board.

1.) I believe we have the better team. I think the outcome of this game hinges on the play of our offensive line. If we can run block better than we did at Bama when they handled the gaps we will win. Josh needs to break 100. We need to let Dak run, too.

2.) The fate of a national championship rides on this one game. No one on our team will overlook this game or be overconfident. We are healthy. We are loaded with talent. They will wear down in the fourth quarter because they are not deep and they are banged up. The only group they have that is better than us is the defensive backfield. They will have to tackle a lot of RBs.

3.) This is the best coaching staff we have EVER had. This is the best team we have ever had. This is the biggest game we have ever played. I firmly believe that-- as soon as we were ranked #1 and when Dak took the lead in the Heisman race-- we played hesitantly. After the Bama loss, the pressure was off (along with the pressure of an undefeated season). We are playing loose again.

4.) We beat them last year with basically the same team (them and us) using our third-string qb for most of the game. Dak is 100% healthy. Bo ain't. Their best player is out. They are one dimensional. Their best player was also their best downfield blocker. If we focus more on the run then turnovers will be limited (as opposed to interceptions). We will win.

Y'all are doing a great job. You cannot make everyone happy (especially here). The video was awesome. Keep up the good work.

Guess he thinks Wallace, although injured, will come in and save them as Prescott did for us last year.

Nope. I could listen to that bass line all day.

Believe me, there's a TON of songs I'd like to use that either A) I couldn't get away with and/or B) Wouldn't be quite as exciting when put up to previous stuff.

Loved everything about it.
Sure, The Refused isn't for everybody, but I'm pumped for the game to get here already.

Stick with the movie trailer music. Anything else you choose is going to be divisive.

Most people don't like metal. Some people hate hip-hop. Same for country, rock, alternative, pop, etc.

Don't tell Mullen but some people hate Journey (these people shouldn't be trusted anyway).

Stick with things that everyone can rally around. Judging by music sales, I'd bet more than half the people that see the video will say, "Why did they ruin that video by putting that god awful screaming in there?" If you like metal, more power to you. But it's better to go with something that resonates with the largest number of people.

This makes a lot of sense and something I had already thought about anyway. I'll tell you this, my thought process is to change it up occasionally so it's not all the same thing over and over again. We were never going to be able to bat 1.000 on fan approval and almost as importantly, don't want things to become stale or predictable.

I'm glad I'm getting some thoughts from y'all on what we're doing/not doing. Very helpful.

I've liked most of the videos a lot...

watched the Alabama video prolly 25 times. AWESOME. The LSU video was top notch also.

All I have to offer is going with old Foo Fighters songs or headbanger **** is a mistake when there is so much good new stuff out there that would work.

Example, something like this:

Overall I think the videos have been great this year. I welcome the addition. It's made it fun. Just offering one man's opinion.

Y'all just keep doing what you're doing. Sure I've liked some vids this year more than others, but they've all been top-notch.

Some people are just going to complain no matter what you do.

You'll appreciate this then... I wrote that song on the list of "future use" Sunday night. I think we're all pretty much on the same page, which is good.
