New Hanover Job...

Does anybody have updates on what's going on in New Hanover? I would
assume that is a popular spot for coaches to apply for; athletes,
booster support, admin support.

The only rumors I've heard is
that the coach from South Brunswick was being looked at. Can anyone
confirm that, or do you know who else may be at the top of their list?

I have heard his name, Leon Fowler and Gordon Walters through the grapevine.

Who really knows, but yes ... New Hanover is a great situation.

Don't know much about Fowler. I can't see Walters getting the job. He is a great coach but things didn't end smoothly last time he left the county. I would think Joey Price, Battle Holley, Keith Wood, Rocky Lewis would be very interested in the job.

The support, football talent, facilities and resources are already solid. As a result, it is not surprising that the interest in this job has been unreal. Some pretty accomplished coaches have figured out that this is a program ready to win big. The new coach will have the support and resources in place from day one. An excellent choice will be made.
