New Orleans Dawgs Help!! Saints Victory Parade

Coming from Jackson, MS Going down for the Saints victory parade which starts @5 but we arriving about 3 and driving back later that night. Any advice on where to park to watch to get in/out of relatively quick?

I would suggest parking somewhere near the Dome. There are some areas down there usually used for tailgating that can be used to park. Don't park down by the river and Convention Center BLVD as you won't get outta there quickly. If you can park near the Done, you can hop on the expressway and get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. My suggestion is to find a place when you get down there early and then walk everywhere.

But I'd say your best bet is to find a pay lot somewhere off Rampart between Poydras and Canal. That will give you the option to watch the parade on Poydras near the dome and then head out if you need to...Or you could then walk down to St Charles and Poydras and watch the parade again. As long as you stay on the I-10 side of Rampart or don't park where you'll have to cross parade routes then you shouldn't have too much trouble hitting I-10 relatively quick.
