Lamar as a 4-seed in our regional would suck, though. They have an excellent pitching staff.

Creighton needs to spend the months of February and March on the road in the south every year. Dang...only playing 48 RS games with 2 and q in their tourney leaves them with only 30-18.

I have a gut feeling that either USA or Troy is coming to Starkville. Keep an eye on Georgia Tech, Clemson (who I don't want anywhere near Starkville), and Miami as well.

If USM wins the C-USA tournament, either JSU or USM will be in our Regional.

With our luck it will be USA, Clemson, and GA Tech in our regional and paired up with UNC for the supers. Sounds far fetched I know but I have seen the way selection committees have vent us over more than once...us playing Texas in the NCAA tournament comes to mind right off.

That would be even more reason for us to be a Natty Seed...UCA is the only team we lost to out of conference this year, and that would put them in the tourney.
