Yes, that is Kevin Ware in a wheel chair. I've never heard of New Riff before, a distillery in Newport, KY., and I'm sorry I've just mentioned their name. Pretty low.

Well, I know what Bourbon never to buy. Plus, a few 1-Star reviews to their business will do fine.

Typical Grover behavior.

I’ve never heard of New Riff. However there is some scuttlebutt that a private group did a New Riff barrel pick and then slapped this label on it (ie: New Riff didn’t have control over this). Not sure if that’s accurate or not though.

I saw that too. Sounds like something KSR might do, then “write” a story and plant it as an actual story. Cute.

It is true. A group that picked the New Riff barrel put the label on it. They are proudly promoting it on a couple of bourbon Facebook sites local to Louisville.

If true it’s in incredibly poor taste.
If I get verification that it is true I will take action including letting my local liquor stores know my opinion of that brand compared to the other higher end bourbons I purchase from them

This is legit, see below post from KSR. Screw this distiller.

The Rick Pitino artwork on this bourbon bottle is wild

There is a special barrel pick of New Riff Distilling’s bourbon and its artwork pokes fun at Rick Pitino. And by pokes fun, I mean it roasts Rick Pitino.

Friend of the program Ed DeRosa shared the image, which shows a good and evil version of Pitino, on Twitter:

This label for the Riff Pitino bourbon (@NewRiff pick from Ryan McGuire) is absolutely incredible.

1:36 PM - Jan 20, 2020

The good side has a clean-cut Pitino and his Kentucky team lifting a trophy beneath confetti. The evil side shows a worn-down Pitino and his Louisville players throwing money at a stripper, complete with a cartoon version of Kevin Ware in his wheelchair.

For those who want a bottle, you will have to know somebody who knows somebody who knows something ’bout it. A private group picked a barrel and designed the label themselves.

It. is. RUTHLESS.

Drew Franklin, big surprise. The King of Douchebags.

He’s just as big a coward if not bigger than Matty Bangs.
