Personally, I would drastically cut Oweh's minutes. He is a large part of this teams problem, imo.

I would try playing lowe and Aberdeen together more, with Williams at the 3. Let Oweh, Johnson, Chandler and Noah spell them based on whoever is playing better that game. If Oweh gets his head out if his ***, he can earn starter minutes again, if not, too had for him and next man up.

I would would start Mo at the 4, but rotate Garrison and Moreno in at the 4 some since it appears JQ plays better with another big on the floor, and they can both make 3s.

We still aren't winning anything of substance with this team, but we can at least maybe play more enjoyable basketball and make a sw16 again.

You may be right I just can’t get excited about Chandler atm. I’ve been a huge fan of his upside but he should have been pulled from the game on Saturday by the second timeout and never allowed to return. His off-ball defense is unexplainable

Chandler is a role player or 4th/5th option as a starter. Unfortunately, for a 2nd year in a row, he is being tasked with playing a role he isn't capable of at this level.

Let him play a 2/3 that isn't meant to create for others, and don't make him a focal point, and he would look completely different.

Let's wait until the coaching issues get fixed before we get too crazy here. If you think we're confused by what Pope is trying to do, how confused do you think the players are? They look pretty dang confused to me.

If I had to formulate a starting lineup based on what we have seen, I would set it up exactly the same way the OP spelled it out. I think it's obvious.

I am unimpressed, as well. It's like he's trying to use KY starter minutes to prove to Golden at Florida that he should've started there. He, like Johnson, is too self-centered right now. They both need to be pass-first type of players, letting the ball and scoring opportunities come back around to them. Surely they can do that ... !!

Owen, Chandler and Lowe are terrible on defense, Owen I think could become a lockdown defender if held accountable and Chandler with proper coaching could become decent, Lowe needs lots of help. Owen and Lowe our best scorers give up as much as they get. So i'm going with a defensive team of JQ, Williams, Dioubate, Aberdeen for defense and Lowe only because I have no one else to play point and make it clear to him his job is to not take ever shot but to create open shots for his teamates and the other players should do the same. Owen comes off the bench, if he plays defense he gets more minutes along with Moreno, Garrison ,Noah all decent defenders.
