have a pretty good source that knows TT's wife, she use to live in AU and still stays in contact with her, TT was definetly forced out by Bobby Lowder and he had said that if AU lost to uat, Tubberville was gone.No one other than BL is running the show when it comes to AU football. The rest are his "puppets"
TT is definetly aware of the big money left by LS to the ADept. and he wants to coach again and soon and would be very interested to talk to us if we wanted to consider him.
Now, are we intereted in TT is the ?
My guess is that he may be a "candidate" but is further down the list than some others that may get it over TT.

...showing him up by winning the 2003 Iron Bowl and Bowl game, then going undefeated the next season, after Lowder let the then AD use his plane to interview Bobby Petrino.

If I were an Auburn fan, I'd kick Lowder in the Nuts.

He has been coaching in the SEC the last 15 years and I think he is tired of all the B.S. I think he really may have resigned on his own. I believe him when he says he wants to take sometime off and be a husband and father. I don't think he is blowing smoke this time around. The man has had a great career and he is still getting a ton of money either way. So what if he wants to take a year off. I'm not buying that he wants to coach next year.

He's spend the 2009 season as a Studio Analyst for the new ESPN broadcasts, then move on to Texas A&M after the Aggies come to their senses and fire Mike Sherman.

Iron bowl 08 gave it to him, just like Egg Bowl got Crooms. Why would anyone ever want to go there?

they are paying him. We all know his contract was 3 million with in 30 days and another 3 million with a year of him being fired. The AD said they met for two days and tried to get him to stay. Now I don't exactly believe the AD beg him to stay and was Shocked he left. Tommy could have easly said I'll quit and you guys can pay me X amount instead of the 6 million.

Tuberville beat Bammer 6 in a row, 7 out of the last 8, and he gets shitcanned after one Iron Bowl loss? Ridiculous. I understand that Lowder controls all the big-money decisions among the coaches, like when coaches have a base salary of $175,000, but the actual salary is $3 million. Well, if Tuberville stayed, Lowder would've put the screws on the extra cash Tuberville would've had for his and his assistants salaries, to make being an assistant there very unattractive.

Tommy Tuberville singlehandedly flipped the Iron Bowl rivalry on its head, and now any new coach who comes in will make Doug Barfield look like Vince Lombardi. You really think Turner Gill will outrecruit Nick Saban?

and Ark. They barely beat MSU. I agree with your assessment of Lowder but it was more than just that game. IF Croom had 6 wins coming into the Egg Bowl he is still our coach too.
