Beginning next week we will have a new game week feature here at SPS.

underDAWG.

Here's the way it will work. I will post a list of college football lines for that week. Participants would choose one underdog that they think will win outright (not just cover), win the game. Those who correctly pick teams that pull the upset will receive the number of points that the team was an underdog at time of posting. If you choose an underdog that doesn't win, you get no points for that week.

For instance, if you chose Virginia Tech to upset Boise State, and Virginia Tech was a 3 point underdog, you would receive 3 points.

Later in the season, those behind have to make up some ground, and are forced to take bigger underdogs. We played this a few years back at a former job and a guy went from worst to first by picking Stanford (a 41 point underdog) to beat USC.

And the best news is that DS has agreed to provide the winner with FREE CHAT! In case there is a tie at the end of the bowl season, the first tiebreaker will be number of correct picks. If there is still a tie, DS has graciously said that in this unlikely event, both participants will be awarded FREE CHAT.

Its pretty fun, and could add to game week festivities around here. NAFOOMers are welcome as well.

However, we know they are never wrong, so we don't stand much of a chance at winning.

How about we all just sign up on 104.5 the zone's website and play silly underdog picks that way you don't have to painstakingly keep track of everybody's pick.

Plus we can win prizes n ****. I don't think they've started it up this year yet but they almost certainly will probably next week I'd guess. I can call the station today and ask to be sure.
