Very impressed with the clarity of the video. A few questions for you. What's the range on one of those? Height wise and distance from controller. What's the flight time? How much does one cost?

And yes he should team up with the video guy.

They can go pretty high but the higher you go, the more turbulence they will encounter. Battery life is about 20 minutes with the one I have. I recommend buying several batteries.

I would also recommend reading(and understanding) everything about them before you just send one up 200 feet. The crashes aren't pretty or cheap.

I'd either go with the Phantom 2 Vision or the 3D Robotics Iris. I have the Iris with a GoPro camera attached to a wireless gimbal. Gives good video and pictures and if you are within about 500 feet you can watch live footage using a tablet with wifi. Iris has a pretty straight forward mission planner that you can basically let the drone fly itself while you watch. It also has a fail safe to where if it experiences trouble, loses signal with the controller, etc..it will fly back to where it started on its own.
