Seeing this straight on makes me wonder a little about the premium seating additions. That's only a few hundred CL seats under the overhang, and the glassed in area on that level would be sufficient for about 1,500 or so. I don't know if they plan for some of that space to be suites or what. If that little upper deck is CL seats, no one will ever sit in them if they can help it. They'll stay inside as much as possible. We have that problem with the current CL, and the entire thing is covered.
Also interesting to see what appears to be a large number of seats for two of the field level suites. I'm wondering if those might indeed be "party" suites.

It is listed as approximately 350 people. I just have my doubts about the field level thing....of course I am not in the stadium design business but I think that will be a tough sell.
That would put us at 64, 467. That's not a bad number. I think we would fill that up by the time construction is done. It would put us past Ole Miss, and only a few thousand behind Kentucky.
I wish they would put a couple more rows of seats so the endzone lower level wuld be the same height as the sideline lower level.
I wish they would extend the small endzone upper level all the way across. It would look more complete and provide cover for the entire endzone club level. That will suck to pay for clublevel seats and not be covered overhead. That would also get us just over 65,000 which is a good nmber.

I would assume those drawings are to show total attendance of what can be seated in the new area, so you would have to subtract out the current seating. So I guess if you fit a few thousand on that side, then the total capacity would probably be around 62,500 once the expansion is done.
This expansion shows we are ready to take the next step forward. If Mullen stays through the expansion, and we can have 2 solid seasons, 2013 could be a very good year for us. We would get Bama, LSU, and OM at home again. SC rotates off and we have UK, Vandy and UT on the schedule from the east.Could be a lot of buildupgoing into the season, and a very very loud Davis Wade stadium. </p>
