Well since my team won in weeks 10 and 11 and I didn't post then I would think a keen observer of the passing scene such as yourself would have caught on that. Or maybe not.

3- 2017 5A and 6A Champ will have new champions this year. First time in a while in 6A (props to PR)

I didn't get a chance to stop by there. Experience, despite the outcome, was good. People at the visitors gate, couple of older guys were absolutely hilarious. Complimentary of our guys following the game and all that.

We were taking bets as to how long it was before there recent bleachers there no more. Brought a lot of students down there so not much sitting room.

They were a treat. The bleachers that is.

Before anyone hops on any third-round playoff team, I'm going to say: the IHSA. Looks like central Illinois has the same transfer certification process that the CPS does.

On the flip side, i've posted all of maybe ten times all years as my hilltoppers went 5-4....here they are in the semi's and i'm slamming out posts like bugs in space jams.

They were a treat. The bleachers that is.

You guys had a nice little student section that seemed to hold its own with the Crazies. Although a couple of the chants from BR side about “Six Flags Sucks!” and “Male cheerleaders! Male Cheerleaders!” had us laughing pretty hard. You guys also had your band in tow which for some unknown reason the BR/McAuley band wasn’t even there. Hopefully they had a competition or something. Also, you guys had a good team, that D-Line was everything that was advertised for the most part.

Thanks. Not sure many people were still in Gurnee - good year but a sad way to end it. They’ll be back, lots of juniors and sophomores played key minutes this year. QB was only a sophomore so was MIddle backer.

Was a great group of kids. I coached a lot of them in youth ball so it was bittersweet seeing it end for them.

Good to hear your stay at a CCL school went well; Rice always greets its visitors warmly.

Although one poster has a tendency to hector Rice over the condition of its visitor stands, the insistence among McAuley students to smoke cigarettes in Rice's student section has caused my only misery while visiting 99th and Pulaski.
