take this story fwiw, I personally have never broken any sort of story.
I don't give a crap if people think I'm in the know, and frankly have
no need to throw crap against the wall and see if it sticks.
I
heard this from a friend who knows someone that works at ESPN. I am
merely passing on the information, my friend wouldn't lie about
something like this and he was reading the information straight from the
email.
The rumor went as follows:
- Auburn out of the SEC before or after title game
- Purchased around 3/4 of their players, and is not just a Cam Newton thing
- They are about to receive a penalty worse than the death penalty
- FBI still investigating how Auburn purchased their players
- Offered ESPN complete coverage if they sat on the story until finished with investigation
That's
what I've heard, ya can call me a liar, and maybe what I heard is
complete crap but I am just passing on what I heard for everyones
analysis.
