Ole Miss
Georgia
@LSU
@Auburn

I'm going to say....

Ole Miss - W (very close game)
Georgia - W (by 10-12)
@LSU - L (by 6-8)
@Auburn - W (only if the refs don't call it as tight)

And then we need to pack the freakin house against UK and try to do everything possible to pull off the upset. Dream situation would be to win the next 4 and be 22-5 going into the UK game. I just haven't seen enough road consistency to think we will win back to back road games though. Thoughts?

no matter the opponent, we seem to be hanging by a thinner and thinner thread. Lack of depth, lack of defensive effort, lack of rebounding effort, lack of free throw shooting, lack of SEC officiating competency, etc, etc, is going to finally break the thread, I am afraid. I just don't see us being able to sustain on the course we are presently navigating.

..this board will meltdown so bad, the FBI & Dept. of Justice will have to be called in to quell the riot.

Having said that, if this team goes 2-2 in the next 4 games, go look at the remainder of the schedule. MSU will be lucky to finish with a .500 conference record.

Please explain to me how a SEC team that finishes with a .500 conference record has enough talent to make a Sweet16.

we 17ing better be.

And if when we do, Gregg Ellis will tweet about something big happening for the Kentucky game, which turns out to be a live chat with Bracky Brett during the first half on HailState.com. The Hump will be about 85% full, students will cheer their loudest for a 17ing puppet show at halftime, and three different Dan Mullen commercials will air 31 times. The Dogs will lose a close one in front of a national audience, forced to swallow an outcome that does nothing more for us than the 2010 SEC Tourney title game. And somewhere, for some god damned reason, Hank Flick will sigh softly on his living room sofa, wondering what might've been.

We usually struggle to win by 3 -5 points at home, and in all road games except Vandy, we have lost by 10 or more. I will say that the Vandy game was the anomaly in that factoid.

So..... I pick a squeaker by like 3 or 4 over the Bears with about 7800 in attendance.
A squeaker over Georgia as they will likely have some Freshman or Sophmore have a career game and go for about 25 on us.
A 10 point loss at LSU.
A 12 to 15 point loss at Auburn.

Or....... they could fool me and lose all 4...or win all 4, neither of which is likely with this bunch.

Was Ole Miss not a road loss by 7. Baylor was pretty much a road loss by 2. Beat Detroit by 5 on the road. So that leaves a 10 point loss to Arkansas where they are something like 15-0 this season knocking off 3 or 4 ranked teams, Ole Miss who should have knocked off Bama at Bama, and a 12 point loss to a ranked UF team... It's hard to tell sometimes if we are 18-5 or 12-10 with the way some of you guys post about our basketball team. It seems like people would enjoy the ride until the ride is over instead of anticipating 12 point losses to 17ing Auburn. The only Loss that we have that's a bad loss is Akron at Home and they are 16-7 and looking like an NCAA Tourney team every time they play.

And I stand corrected. We only lost at Mississippi by 7. Maybe one of our guards made a 3 at the buzzer to make it 7 instead of 10. So my facts were incorrect there.

But Arkansas was a bad loss in multiple facets. By 10, gave up 90+ and they were un-ranked and we weren't un-ranked. So what if Arkansas has won all their home games. We have won nearly all of ours(Akron loss was by 10). You gotta play defense on the road too.

The Florida loss, though not surprising, was by more than 10.

And so if we played Akron on the road, since they are probably a tourney team, what do you think we would lose to them by? 15?, 18? Lost by 10 at home remember.

Either we got the talent to win in this league or we don't. They have 8
games left to prove my hypothesis wrong. Let the fun begin. I'll be
here.

Arkansas is the only road game were we just got flat out beat from start to finish. A lot of experts think Vandy is better than us and they lost at Arkansas by 8 points. Kentucky was a Final Four team last year and went 2-6 in the SEC in road games. You act like it's easy to win road games in the SEC and it's not. We have played tough on the road but at Ole Miss we couldn't hit our final shots to win that game and they did and Florida finished us off at home like any good team should do. You inflate these 10 point losses as if we are being dominated on the road but that's just not the case.

road. In fact, I'd be willing to bet the Kentucky game will be closer. You forget that this team has the ability to play with Kentucky. We have the ability to beat anyone in college basketball. The problem is that we are inconsistent due to poor coaching.

WOW I did not realize that we were 18-5! What a great testiment to talent on this team to be able to win 18 games without a coach is absolutely 17ing amazing. Way to go guys!!!
