If you had the choice of getting rid of one building on campus (for whatever reason) which would you pick?
my top 5:
Dorman Hall
my 1a winner for the obvious reason that it makes the Junction and MSU look like Stalingrad every time we're on ESPN.

McArthur Hall

Rice Hall

Howell Bldg.
probably my 1b winner purely for the fact that the Mize Pavilion looks so good and you see this vomit inducing bldg's generators and air units uncovered and ruins that.

Probably the building in front of the end zone expansion right behind the architecture building. Don't remember the name of it but it blocks what would be a sweet view of the stadium.

Howell is an embarrassment and should be the first to go, even before Dorman. I would be ashamed driving a guest by that building

Allen will be the next to go, and should be. Everyone ***** on Dorman, but Allen is horrible both inside and out. The first floor hallway and the second floor everything are horribly laid out and not functional.

I have heard Allen will be gone in a few years after everything gets moved to lee.

I would get rid of that silly spaceship that landed on our campus...is it the alumni center? Obviously, it's not going anywhere, but they need to refurb that thing.

It still has use if given a facelift. There is a decent auditorium room in there and the classrooms I was in weren't terrible. Granted this was 7 years ago.
The auditorium inside just got a big renovation, I believe.

The last I heard, it was going to be rebricked to match all the other new stuff on campus.

Definitely agreed. That little hallway that connects the front of Allen to the classroom areas in the back is ridiculously narrow. Unbelievable that somebody designed that in that way.

No, from what I understand, it will be demolished. You can't redbrick the interior and make it more functional... Dorman can get a facelift and be just fine.

Wanting a building to go because of aesthetics and needing a building to go for functional purposes are 2 different things. I think the 2 buildings that need to go are Williams (current police building & former alumni association) and the Butler guest house. They block they entire East side of Davis Wade Stadium. Congestion on that side of the stadium is going to be compounded with the students moving to the north endzone.

Admittedly the design doesn't fit in, but HH is nice inside and is not...

that old, so it is not going anywhere. I really don't know what the university planners were thinking when that plan was approved.
