He struggled two March’s ago with his cut. He had some health issues prior to Big Xii’s.

Then, he goes and makes the finals, losing a heartbreaker to a guy that became an All-American.

So, his three losses in March were all to All-Americans. Happel is kryptonic to Tagen. But I’d say he’s right there in the 3-8 range, especially considering that they are aware of and have most likely a close eye on potential health factors.

He might have the strength and potential of 3-8 but he hasn’t shown he can either stay healthy or manage the cut to count on it.

If Vega is showing potential to win big matches and get on the podium, they aren’t just giving Jamison the spot in December just because he is healthy.

You do realize he won the wrestle off last year for 49? He was asked to go 41 because Carter swore he couldn’t make 41 and the coaches also believed and still do that he can win a natty at 41. So then he takes one for the team and then Carter gets replaced in February. But now of all of a sudden Carter can make 41? Tagen has a chip on his shoulder and if his rehab goes well he will be getting his spot back I promise you.

He got beat by (I think) 3,4 and 5…in tight matches in March last season. That’s far from struggle. That was bad luck.

If Vega goes out and dominates, maybe. But Vega ain’t beating Tagen and he ain’t scoring more points at the dance this year. Sorry!
