I watched the game and didn't care who won, but...

Sour grapes.

Any game has a few bad calls, but San Fran was raped repeatedly in that game. It felt earily familiar to watching State play Alabama. No, it was almost as bad as this year's Egg Bowl or the BYU game in a Starkville.
I noticed some of these ******** calls in real time. Not the clock stuff, but about 4-5 of the other plays.

Yeah. A bunch of BS. The personal foul the video tries to dispute is an obvious personal foul. He makes the case it's shoulder to shoulder, but the rule states:

" if a player illegally launches into a defenseless opponent. It is an illegal launch if a player (1) leaves both feet prior to contact to spring forward and upward into his opponent"

Later her he calls something "an obvious hold" on Russell Okung. That's not an obvious hold. It could have been called, but I've seen worse not get called. Same with the intentional grounding/outside the pocket call.

What possible reason could the NFL have to fix that game to get the Seahawks in the Super Bowl?

The worst call (or no call actually) in that game was when the refs did not blow the whistle when Navarro Bowman was laying on the ground with possession of a fumble and a leg that looked broken on the one yard line. Instead a bunch of Seahawks pile on top of him and pry it loose giving Seattle another shot at it. Fortunately Seattle fumbled on the next play but that was a horrid miss by the officials.

The bottom line though is that if the Niners had taken care of business early in the season then that game would have been in San Francisco and the calls might have gone the other way.

Felt more like the Saints playing the Niners. That was a robbery as well.

Exactly. It's San Francisco, one of the more historic and popular teams. Why would they not want them to go?

Agreed. That call or lack there of was inexcusable

Things luckily worked out for San Fran on the next play, but seriously, where the 17 was the left line judge on that play? If he had been where you'd expect a left sideline judge to be on a goal line play, he would have had clear line of site to Bowman being on the ground for a full 2-3 seconds with the ball in his right arm.

As far as home field goes, I do agree that the Niners had their chances to host and blew it, but I have a gripe with the fact that the second best team in the NFC not only did not get a first round bye, but they also had to go on the road three weeks in a row during the playoffs. The current rules with divsion winners are ********, and no matter whether they won or lost, the fact that they had to play an opening round game in Green Bay was an absolute joke. That ****'s gotta get fixed.

I agree about the home field situation. Maybe make it to where if a team finishes at least two games ahead of a division winner then that team should get home field. It is ridiculous for a 9-7 team to get home field over a 12-4 team.

In the Niners defense, if they weren't ravaged with injuries at the start then they probably would have been about 14-2 and gotten the home field.

Yep. The Ian Williams injury hurt more than most know. Dorsey and the backups became pretty good by mid season or later... But, without that injury and others, we prob don't lose to the Colts or Saints for sure. The Niners were a 14-2 type team this year. My problem with the NFC championship was that I truly think the officials get bullied in Seattle. The Seahawks have made it known for some time that they are going to FORCE the refs to call penalties on every play against the DBs. The refs aren't going to do that. They don't want to hear it from the fans, especially at Seattle. This makes for an unfair advantage.

Am I the only one that felt like Jerrell Powe reading "Hop on Pop" while watching that? Had to pause it so I could finish. Damn you Wayne County School District
