Caleb could play poorly enough for it to be competitive lol

Stroud has regressed dramatically, but Houston had few good weapons even when they were healthy, and now they have almost no healthy offensive skill players. NE’s offense is garbage too. That’s why I automatically was putting Denver in the Super Bowl until Nix got hurt.
Night Train Lane was 7-time All-Pro, still has the season record for most interceptions (14), set as a rookie in 1952. Still fourth all-time in career interceptions. A ferocious tackler.likely that not many here are old enough to remember Big Dick. A real man.

It was a generation ago, but if your QB was playing like this, you benched him. In 2026, you can't hurt anyone's feelings, and the coach is the dictator who can never be wrong about anything.
One of my favorite moments was when Saban benched Hurts and won the National Championship because of it. Houston should have benched their QB today in the second quarter and instead their coach proclaimed his they will get behind him. He proceeded to dump the game into the garbage. Ryans got the loss he deserves today, it's just sad that Tomlin wasn't coach enough to take it last week.

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with the generation we're in
I think many would have benched Stroud after the horrible 6 quarters he played--Ryans just isn't that guy. Hopefully he grows as a HC
