Roger Goodell's plot to replace the refs with his cronies fails...

...Roger Goodell's attempt to appeal to leftist anti-American flag-burning, homophilic Feminazis and Vegeterrorists backfires. Now he's forced to use fair referees who aren't beholden to him. Look for pro-American teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, etc. to begin winning big while the Washington Foreskins, Tampon Bay Succanneers, Fire Island Giants, Philthydelphia Fagles, and Seattle Suckhawks go into the trashbin.

I am going to take a different approach. My two cents... several times.

Get this clear.. I do not want the replacement ref's for another 17ing play. I am so glad the regular ref's will be back.

First: I don't blame Goddell. He works for the owners and he was only doing what he was told. Sure, he is the point man and he can be the face of the owners if you like but make no mistake, he was only doing what he was told to do.

Second: I do not want the ref's getting so much power that they are above reproach. They should be held accountable and certainly don't want them gaining the power that the MLB Umpires have right now. I love baseball but the ump's in that league can dominate the games and that sucks.

Third: The amount of dollars separating the two was 50-70 million dollars for 120 people. That is not a total payout just the difference between the sides. I do hope these guys get paid but you can't expect them to just hand over that kind of money.

Fourth: One of the problems that I understood was one that just didn't have an easy solution. The NFL wanted at least some full time ref's and these guys were currently only part time with other jobs. The NFL is going to have to replace the monies they could make in their other jobs and make it worth the ref's while to drop their other career. I doubt that was easy fix. Some of the guys made lots of money on the side and others not so much. That's a tough negotiation. I am interested to see how they worked that out.

Fifth: Pension? I hate the way companies are doing away with everyone's pension plans which was one of the sticking points. One more reason many of this next generation will end up working into their 70's.

That is all for now.
