So who was out there saying the season needs to be longer? With more playoff teams?

Not that there is no argument for it. I just haven't heard it.

I’m not a big fan of a 17 game season. I don’t like the idea of the Ravens and Steelers battling out a AFC North title with one of them getting 8 home games and the other with 9.

Maybe there is some work around like every team having 1 neutral site game, but I haven’t seen that mentioned.

I’ve seen it suggested that the NFL would expand its “off shore” games to keep it at eight and eight and I’ve seen it suggested that one conference would play eight home games and the other nine.
