NFL Draft and MSU Players

What is everyone's prediction for our players in the draft this week?

Here is my best guess...

Gabe Jackson - Late 1st to 2nd Round

LaDarius Perkins - 6th or 7th Round

Nickoe Whitley - 7th or FA

Autry - 7th or FA

Russell - FA

Am I missing anyone? As a bonus, who goes #1? And where does Manziel go?

I say Clowney #1 to Houston and Manziel goes to Cleveland.

I think Jackson is 50/50 2nd round to 3rd.

I think Gabe goes mid to late 2nd and Perkins somewhere on the 3rd day, being our only two drafts. Clowney goes first and someone traded to get Johnny Football

My predictions are:

Gabe Jackson - late 2nd Round - Interior Lineman are rarely taken in 1st Rd, exception being last year.
LDP - I actually think someone will take a good look at him due to his pass catching, but last year's production hurt his stock so late 5th to 7th Rd
Nickoe Whitley - FA
Deontae Skinner - FA
Denico Autry - 6 or 7th Round
Russel - FA

Houston will pick Clowney unless they are looking for an immediate attendance boost and choose the wild card Manziel.

I think Cleveland takes a shot at Manziel. They are solid at a lot of positions and their only glaring need is at QB. They would have to adjut their offense so may go for Bortles if Jacksonville passes him up. I can't see Jacksonville passing on Bortles from UCF though.

Gabe Jackson early 2nd. I would be surprised if any of our other guys were drafted, though I could see Autry and a healthy Nickoe making 53-man rosters as FAs. I'm afraid guys like LDP are a dime a dozen in the NFL in a time when RBs are not very valuable. If Cam can make it Skinner could too in the right situation. Hopefully Tyler could at least make a practice squad on the right team.

Nickoe will make a roster. He'll spend a year on a practice squad rehabbing and training first though.

I'm going to the draft, so I hope Gabe goes 31 or 32. Would be pretty cool to see him drafted in person.
