NFL Draft Tonight - thoughts & bold predictions/R1 thread

[Tom McAndrew]

The Giants pick Abdul Carter, DE, of PSU, with the #3 pick

[SleepyLion]

Five year starter in college - won’t see that too often.

You will... at 5 different schools too.

So, he'll be an Eagle in 5 years?

So, he'll be an Eagle in 5 years?

all Birds fans would be happy if it played out that way

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #4 pick, the Patriots select Will Campbell, OT, LSU

[Nittering Nabob]

So, he'll be an Eagle in 5 years?

Anywhere but with the NYG’s

Chalk so far in terms of players.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #5 pick, the Cleveland Browns select Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #6 pick, the Las Vegas Raiders select Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise St.

[CyphaPSU]

Amazing how ESPN included a Jeanty play against PSU in their draft highlight package. It wasn't even a first down.

Raiders will be interesting with Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly there.

[LB99]

Amazing how ESPN included a Jeanty play against PSU in their draft highlight package.

Why watch that gibberish? NFL Network all night.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #7 pick, the NY Jets select Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

[BobPSU92]

A write-up on espn.com compared Abdul Carter to Micah Parsons.

I hate us.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #8 pick, the Carolina Panthers select Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

This picks seems to surprise the analysts on NFL Network

I'd note that Carolina used their #1 pick on WR in the 2024 draft, and their #2 pick on WR in the 2023 draft

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #9 pick, the New Orleans Saints select Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

I think that's back-to-back years they've selected an OT in R1

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #10 pick, the Chicago Bears select Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

[CyphaPSU]

Unreal that Loveland is taken over Warren.

Guess at least that saved Warren from having to play in Chi.

[Catch1lion]

Bears

[Nittering Nabob]

Warren has to like dropping below the teams no one ever wants to play for.

[Nittering Nabob]

Unreal that Loveland is taken over Warren.

Thankfully there is a regional bias to the draft

[Corner Room Breakfast]

Bears are a long, long, way from championship status , Tyler dodged one.

[LionJim]

Licence-plate sized diamond pendants are all the rage. One guy had diamond-encrusted Crocs. I weep for our civilization.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #11 pick, the San Francisco 49ers select Mikel Williams, DE, Georgia

[ApexLion]

And that’s why the Bears are the Bears.

That’s what their fans are up against.

Warren is a better player.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #12 pick, Dallas selects Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

[CyphaPSU]

Trade up, Eagles! We will need a TE. haha

Had a momentary freeze there.

[anon1793628996]

Trade up, Eagles! We will need a TE. haha

If he hangs around a little longer that wouldn’t surprise me.

[CyphaPSU]

Had a momentary freeze there.

When he said "Tyler," I was about to lose it.

[anon1793628996]

Had a momentary freeze there.

Haha, I was like SON OF A, oh cool.

[Tom McAndrew]

If he hangs around a little longer that wouldn’t surprise me.

I'd love to see Tyler Warren on the Birds. That said, I think they have bigger needs on D. So a trade up to obtain Warren would surprise me.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #13 pick, the Miami Dolphins select Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

[CyphaPSU]

On the BottomLine ticker, it does not get old at all seeing the number 32 next to "Philadelphia Eagles."

[MtNittany]

Bears fans must be apoplectic.

[Nittering Nabob]

Admire him or loathe him, Hairball recognized and developed NFL talent on both sides of the line.

Wow, 3 Wolverines so far.

[Tom McAndrew]

With the #14 pick, the Indianapolis Colts select Tyler Warren, TE, PSU
