Joe Burrow going to Cincinnati. After that, everything's a crapshoot.

Add Chase Young to the Redskins. After that, everything's a crapshoot. Going to see a lot of offensive linemen taken in the 1st round, 6-7. Obviously the big story line will be Tua and Herbert and in what order do they go and how far do either one of them slip after that.

Can Akers project 2nd round. Willie Gay won’t be far behind him.

I honestly would be a little shocked if Gay doesn't go before Akers. Akers is behind several other guys at a position that is devalued in today's NFL. We might not see our first RB taken off the board until round 2, and even then Akers is behind several other guys likely.

There was a great article on them taking Sebastian Janikowski with a first round pick in 2000 on ESPN this week.

Raiders gonna Raider. I kinda respect them for it.

Arguably Cbass turned out to be a their best player for some years. The Bucs picking Aguayo was a disaster.

That was the gist of the article. The pick was widely panned and the Raiders were terrible for a long time, but using revisionist history, he added a lot of value over a long career and when you look at the best available at that spot in the first round, those players didn't pan out at all.

There seems to be an unusually high level of trade talk this year. Maybe because after Burrow and Young, you’ve got a boatload of guys that could basically go anywhere from 3 to 20.

As a Niners fan, there should be an elite level WR at 13, and I’m just hoping they grab one rather than trying to get cute with a trade down for a budget player. Deebo was a great pickup last year, but they’ve got to get a legit #1 guy. Other than that, they need to be picking up at least a couple OL and a CB

Hopefully it's Juedy, but I bet we go after Jefferson. I love Ruggs, but I think his skills overlap too much with Deebo.

Curious to see what the Saints do at 24. They need an LB and another receiver. If Patrick Queen is there I think they take him, if not then I have no idea.

Agree with you about Ruggs. He may be the next Tyreek Hill, but I think SF has much more need for a guy that can go up and get the ball or out muscle guys rather than a speedster right now. Someone has to take some pressure off Kittle

If Jeudy is off the board, I’d love to see Lamb or else maybe take a CB at 13 and then grab a guy like Higgins later on

With WR depth I can definitely see them trading down especially if Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs are off the board. The biggest thing is to turn 13 or 31 into more draft capital. If you can turn 13 into a late 1st and two picks on day two that would be a big plus. And if you take someone with 13 then 31 probably turns into two day two picks. Either way, there's plenty of really good WR talent available in the 20-40 range with Jefferson from LSU, Aiyuk from ASU, Reagor from TCU and Higgins from Clemson all projecting to go in that area if we do move to the back of the first.

I'd love to see us get Gay and Danzler as they represent positions of need w/ us shopping Alexander and having CB come up as one of the weak spots down the stretch.

His advanced numbers are rather impressive. I think he had the worse run blocking OL in D1 football last year.

Bam! Getting their pick of Jeudy or Lamb. I’ll be thrilled with either, but I’m guessing Jeudy

Lynch is so good. Trade down one spot, still get your pick of Jeudy and Lamb and turn a 7th rounder into a 4th rounder.

Sigh... I mean, Kinlaw is a solid pick, but sheez. Buckner, Armstead, Thomas, Ford, Bosa, and now Kinlaw? I get that Buckner is now gone, but how many first round D linemen does one team need?

We’ll see how the rest of the draft goes, but I sure hope that Jeudy and Lamb don’t end up making Lynch severely regret passing on them. Not to mention that they still have needs at CB and OL as well with just one pick left in the first 3 rounds. Not a fan of the pick really at all right now

With Buckner gone, and word that they’ll be shopping Ford over the summer this just tellls me that the Solomon Thomas error is over. The teams identity is predicted on winning the line of scrimmage so I like it from that perspective. Lynch was also quoted as having said something about liking the top 24 WR on the board so it shouldn’t be that surprising.

I’d have probably went DB or Safety but Lamb is a HUGE upgrade over Cobb plus they may have did it to keep Lamb from falling to Philly.

WTF Green Bay?

Trade UP to saddle yourself for 4-5 years and tens of millions in guaranteed money for a #2 QB?

They must feel really good about literally their entire roster.

TCU went 5-7 last year with 3 borderline first round picks. Don’t see that out of a Gary Patterson team.

I hadn’t heard anything about Ford being shopped, but yeah... while I can see the value in the Kinlaw pick, it just seems like a “nice to have” selection when they had much more glaring needs and precious few selections at their disposal. Maybe the addition of Kinlaw makes their front completely unstoppable, but I guess I’m of the mindset that when you have Bosa, Armstead, and Ford already on it, it doesn’t take much around the Center to keep it in an elite category.

Guess we’ll see if this pays off, but with serious holes in the depth chart at CB, O line, and WR, I hope they didn’t mortgage the future on a gamble. It didn’t make me feel a ton better when they proceeded to burn 3 picks on a WR in Aiyuk that has basically had one good year of football

It definitely felt like two steps forward three steps back to acquire picks and then move them, but at the end of the day we have no fewer picks than before the draft started and we basically turned 13, 31 and 176 into 14, 25 and 156.

Shanahan said last night that Aiyuk was his top WR and had Kinlaw not been there at 14 he might have taken him there. That could be after the fact coach speak, but Shanahan is a guy that seems to always have a plan, and Aiyuk could wreak havoc opposite deebo - forcing defenses to defend a lot east and west.

I am hopeful that we see some guys on the roster get moved for picks. Pettis, Breida, Coleman And Goodwin could all be gone by the time the 2nd round starts tonight.

And all that nonsense talk about re-signing Dez Bryant can go to bed. They no longer have a need that outweighs putting up with his crap.

And I believe Cooper’s 4yr deal

Can basically be over after two without much penalty for the Boys, so if his nagging injuries remain/ get worse over the next two years, they already have the replacement.
