Who is that directed to? Racist football fans? Don't think white supremacist watch NFL or NBA.

It's a lazy way of the NFL pretending they care. "Look, we mandated end zone messages and everything!" They know it's ineffectual, but it looks good.

Does racism exist? Yes. Is it bad? Yes. Is it as bad as it used to be? Not anywhere close. Is there any way to totally end racism? No. If there were a way to end it, would end zone messages be the way? No.

I can guarantee you, nothing the NFL has done has had any positive effect on race relations. Not one single person has had their mind positively changed by the NFL.

''End Paid Organized Violence'' and ''Support Law Enforcement Without Bias''
100% agree. Why don’t they stencil something like”Blue Lives Matter” or “Support our Veterans”?? Nope, we are not having riots, looting, killing, etc over those causes, so the woke left can’t support them!!

Can't end racism until you end BET, Black Mrs. America, etc. There are so many. Thankfully I don't remember them. But hey lets make sure we interview a minority before we hire the most qualified applicant. Corporations also get tax benefits to sub out business to minority owned businesses. Can't end racism until we are all considered equal.

You do know that BET is owned by the same company that owns CBS (Paramount). Maybe you don't. How bout this slogan, "Having something targeted to someone else doesn't mean you are being persecuted". I know it's long, but I guess that will have to do for now.

Or "stop talking about ending racism while promoting segregation". I think that fits better.

What these woke NFL idiots don`t - but should - realize is that football/teamwork/fans of all races/ages, etc. are the things that promote unity and diminish racism, bad will toward others, etc. It`s the "in your face" messages, the Kapernick antics, etc. that are the things that actually either do nothing or do harm. Get rid of the freaking worthless reminders and let the home team put messages that inspire their fans. Maybe "Go Bills?" etc. Oh and less not forget the "male cheerleaders." It`s no wonder I watch mostly college football only.

I like the idea of your slogan but black "leaders", LGBTQXIPMRN? groups, militant feminists and every other perpetually offended group wouldn't accept that something targeted to white people was acceptable and anyone participating in it would be excoriated.

My thought on this is that if someone is racist, putting messages in the end zone is not going to change their heart. The NFL, if they want to put messages in the end zone, they should focus on subjects that are unifying, things that can potentially impact everybody. I heard today that cancer is expected to strike 30% of Americans. I don't care what color, gender, religion, or nationality you are, you don't know that you or a family member won't be one of the 30%. "Beat Cancer" then give the names of institutions like the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and their addresses so people can contribute if they want. If they feel it necessary to go into social issues, then maybe "End Hunger" and give the name of a charity involved in that like "Feeding America" and their address so that people can contribute if they want. Nobody can be against ending hunger in America. That's what I think. But I know little and claim less.

Experientially, you know better than anyone that the knife never cuts both ways. BET and a Jet magazine are relatively silly examples of things that whites could never get away with.

More significantly:

Planned all-white community is racist, white supremacist, illegal, anti-American, and must be stopped:

Planned all black community is brave, heroic and forward thinking:

Every race has racists and it will never be eradicated. I used to think that after a few generations most of it would fade, but I didn't count on parents teaching their children to be racist. The NFL should choose a different cause.

Way to go football men!

I can only wonder how many staunch racists will have their entire life philosophy altered by seeing "end racism" on the screen for a few minutes per game. Really makes you think.

Im just glad this effort has succeeded. We have now ended racism, and can move on to other topics affecting our society.
Like crime rate gang violence !

If there were only 2 slightly different skin tones in the entire world, you would have racism. It's as old as humanity and there is no way to eradicate it. Of course it's terrible and parents should teach their kids that it's a sin, but ending racism is just not possible.

I know folks hate to hear it, but America actually fares extremely well compared to most other nations as far as racism is concerned. European and Asian countries are horribly racist. Black athletes in some of those countries get bananas thrown on the field at them. We, frankly, lead the way in terms of not being racist.

Keeping racism at the forefront is a multi billion dollar business for many. When America, and I mean the vast majority, realizes this, maybe we can put an end to it. Let’s face it, Sharpton needs a job
So very true. To the extent that there are some who would tell you, if you are a white person, you can't help being racist. There's nothing you can do about it. It is simply part of who you are. Nothing you can do or say can ever change it. It creates a muti-billion dollar industry.

Those who scream the loudest about racism actually NEED racism. They'd be unemployed otherwise. If my job is to fight racism and if all white people everywhere are guilty of racism all the time, well, that's job security.

Does anyone else see the scam here? On the one hand "End racism!". On the other hand "you're intrinsically racist and there's nothing you can do about it."

Yep. Race baiters need it. For financial reasons, for arguments sake, to play the victim.

It still exists without them, but I wonder what things would be like if we weren't actively stoking the fire.

I hate reading this crap… Some of you will never get it. You will only see the world from your perspective and likely will never even attempt to understand things or people that have a different perspective than you. You will call it Woke, liberal, democrat, republican, pro life, pro choice or some other term that is used to device people. Take this BS elsewhere, I love my Gamecocks and I severed this country for 20yrs regardless of it history or whether I agreed with it racist past. Reading some of these comments make me sick to my stomach. Those who don’t learn from the history are destined to repeat it.SMMFH
