My thought on this is that if someone is racist, putting messages in the end zone is not going to change their heart. The NFL, if they want to put messages in the end zone, they should focus on subjects that are unifying, things that can potentially impact everybody. I heard today that cancer is expected to strike 30% of Americans. I don't care what color, gender, religion, or nationality you are, you don't know that you or a family member won't be one of the 30%. "Beat Cancer" then give the names of institutions like the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and their addresses so people can contribute if they want. If they feel it necessary to go into social issues, then maybe "End Hunger" and give the name of a charity involved in that like "Feeding America" and their address so that people can contribute if they want. Nobody can be against ending hunger in America. That's what I think. But I know little and claim less.
