An OL as the first pick for Miami on Tuesday night. I dont know which is worse...An OL being the first pick or that an OL being the first pick is getting more press than NHL playoffs.

Oh and Shaun Alexander is looking for a new team....Deuce, Shaun, and Bush could make one great NFL back for my Saints.

Two has beens and a hasn't yet been.
I would categorize Bush as a "never-will-be." Not that he isn't talented, because he is, but I don't ever see him as a feature back.

Deuce should have retired. He's a smart business man and he's set financially, but he's taking a risk playing on two bum knees. He's not the same back he used to be anyway.

When is the draft ever exciting?

Seriously, the most exciting it ever was was when Eli was picked by the Chargers.

he won't be the feature back but every team in the league wants a guy who can score on any play, from anywhere on the field.

It's a whole afternoon of college football highlights, which I really enjoy. I don't know if exciting is the right word, but it's certainly interesting. Watching Brady Quinn plummet last year was intriguing.

I can sometimes watch a decent amount of the first round. After that however, I can't stomach the 2nd-7th rounds. And honestly I only pay attention probably to the first 4 or 5 picks. I usually check back in every few hours to see who was picked, mainly to see what SEC players were picked where, but that's about it. With the ticker running at the bottom, it usually only takes about 5 minutes to get an update of what you missed.

is also fun although he has toned it down a bit lately. If you like the nfl and/or college, i can't see how you don't like the draft. Its like a recap of the best college players and their careers and a preview of the nfl teams and how they will do. watching the clip of pat willis pound that lsu running back into the dirt 15 times last year was great. this draft is pretty weak on qb's and wr's though which will make it kind of boring. watching people drop and the camera constantly going to them for every pick is also pretty entertaining.

without falling asleep at some point. It's more boring than MLB. Besides, who has 4 hours to waste on a Saturday?

I do. That's what Saturdays are for, wasting time with no obligations. Golf, fishing, pool, drinking, watching sports, whatever.

And yes that is by far the best part of the draft. I always watch until the first Jets pick. I always am waiting for the big OOHHHHHHH!!!!!

It is not as good now as it used to be because the audience is so much larger. You get more fans from all teams attending. In the old days it was almost only Jets and Giants fans when the seating was very limited.
