Did anyone else see the punt from Tennessee and the Houston player bobbled the ball and the Tennessee guy grabs the ball before it hits the ground. I am thinking Tennessee ball since the Houston player touched the ball first. Ball goes back to Houston because the ref said the ball had to hit the ground first. Does anyone else think this was a ******** call?

I'm thinking Fisher is in someones ear today over that call. I know I would be after that one and even after that call it seemed the Titans were still having questionable calls go against them.

(on fair catch interference rule)

A player who signals a fair catch has an opportunity to complete the catch. And that means that you can recover after it hits the ground, so it was the correct call.

How would one define a simple bobble versus losing control of the catch? Simply put, you have to come up with some demarcation point of where the catcher has not caught the ball and the only way to do that would be saying if the ball hits the ground or possibly a player on the same team.

The entire crowd was ridiculously confused because everyone was so loud we couldnt hear the ref and I never knew what actually happened til I got home. Changed the game. And that rule sucks
