I bet they improve a game or two. Geno's having a great camp/practice, but I'll believe it when I see it. Chan and Fitzmagic back together for the first time since the Bills went 4-1 before he broke his Ribs and they lost the rest of the way.
In all honesty, I'm just glad that a. the Jets are improving and b. The Patriot's decade dominance over this division is over. Couldn't care less about Geno's time with the Jets.. he's not the QB for the future.

According to a report this morning, the LB was running a football camp back home and asked Smith to show up. Smith agreed and the LB paid for a $600 plane ticket.....even paid for a guy to pick Smith up at the airport....who subsequently waited at the airport for over 2 hrs. Smith never showed nor called to cxl. (And there are conflicting reports why Smith cancelled as well) The LB was mad and confronted Smith......demanding his money back. Smith argued back and pointed a finger in his face. Then the hit.
According to the guys in the lockerroom, it escalated so fast that no one thought it would come to blows.

Jets will deal with Geno at some point if he's still doing boneheaded play on the field.. and now off the field. But first things first: if a guy can't quantify the difference between someone owing him $600 and the chance at a reported $1.3 million pay day, I don't want him on the team. Guy's a moron with past issues, glad he showed himself before the start of the season.
#1 vs #2 draft choice go against each other 1st game of season. Over/under on AP's season. 1500 yards more or less?
What's the going rate for the Red Zone Channel? My cable company is offering it for $60. Will be a nice addition on the Sundays that the Bengals don't have a 1pm kickoff, but I don't want to get ripped off.

-First, let me say that I wish the NFL wasn't so backwards to where Mariota would start.
-Second let me state that I want two things to occur this coming yr......that Mariota stays healthy and that we have a feeling like we found a good prospect at QB. We do those two things and we will win 5-7 games....which is a step in the right direction, but still a long way to go.
2. Over/under on AP at 1500 yds? Are we talking rushing only?......b/c that's easy as an under. He's only went over 1500 yds twice in his career......and now he's 30 and didn't play last yr. Now, total yds? That's a different topic. I'm going to take a WAG and go with 1400 total yds and 12 total TD's this yr.
BlueRaider was referring to rushing. Won't really matter how good Mariota might be if the OL can't protect him. Hopefully there will be an improvement this year.
^I hear ya. I'm worried about the o-line too. Lewan has really impressed thus far in his natural LT position. Warmack really was impressive late in the yr last yr.....and has considerably transformed his body this off-season. (enough that I pray he doesn't get busted for steroids or something) But that's about it. LG, C, RT are all question marks......ouch.
^Ouch, worries confirmed. Granted it's only pre-season, but the o-line was the main causes of the Mariota INT and fumble....
