NFL vs college football

Just found out tonight from a Philly buddy and season ticket holder of the Eagles that the Eagles have a game vs the Bears on Friday after Thanksgiving at 2:00 CST
Is this the first Friday after Thanksgiving game the NFL has tried - I don’t recall any NFL games ever on Friday?
He was pumped about it talking about tailgate plans starting about 9 AM in their parking lots.
Maybe it puts more eyes on us since NFL is at 2 and people are getting ready for the NFL or maybe it takes away to some degree if game goes late and into the start of NFL game ?
Glad we aren’t the 2:30 ABC game then I guess.

Utah @ Kansas and Iowa @ Nebraska will both also be at 11:00.

Bears - Eagles is on Prime so won't available to a lot of traditional television viewers.
