Hamstring.I see that Joey Porter is listed as out for today's Steelers game. I don't follow the Steelers as closely as many of you do -- what injury does Porter have?
Yes, college football is far more interesting.I'm getting to the point that I can only watch my favorite team. The rest of the NFL games just seem pedestrian and boring. My interest in the NFL is wavering. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Several years ago I started to realize that I found the average college game more compelling to watch than the average NFL game. However, for some reason I find myself this season with a resurgent interest in spending time watching whatever NFL game is on the TV. I guess it’s because I just like football.I'm getting to the point that I can only watch my favorite team. The rest of the NFL games just seem pedestrian and boring. My interest in the NFL is wavering. Is anyone else experiencing this?

No but you're not alone. Many say the same thing about the college game. I think there's a lot of bad games (PIT/NE was just awful football) but there's a ton of college games that are "name the score" type games for the favorite. To each their own...NFL REDZONE is amazing though.I'm getting to the point that I can only watch my favorite team. The rest of the NFL games just seem pedestrian and boring. With an aging Kelce, he’s got no one to throw to these days. Statistically, they weren’t particularly great on offense last year either. But, they should theoretically get better once they get some receivers back from injury. What the hell is Mahomes doing? Twice this half he made a crazy backwards pass while in the grasp. Collinsworth glazing him for recovering the ball but it was his monumentally stupid play to begin with. Their offense looks awful
I'm old....maybe I'm experiencing a little burnout. So...if posting something "strange" is "wow"....blame it on me being old. I still can watch most college games.wow, a strange thing to post on a day that featured no shortage of great game endings in the NFL.
Yes and been so for a few years. I'm not old either.I'm getting to the point that I can only watch my favorite team. The rest of the NFL games just seem pedestrian and boring. My interest in the NFL is wavering. Is anyone else experiencing this?
The fact that two field goal attempts were blocked and returned for TDs at the end of games today, as well as another game featuring a blocked field goal, cinches that!wow, a strange thing to post on a day that featured no shortage of great game endings in the NFL.
Interesting, as I blame my own old age as being responsible for sitting and watching more games than I ever have.I'm old....maybe I'm experiencing a little burnout. So...if posting something "strange" is "wow"....blame it on me being old. I still can watch most college games.
There were some amazing games and finishes. Who saw a GB loss coming?I'm getting to the point that I can only watch my favorite team. The rest of the NFL games just seem pedestrian and boring. My interest in the NFL is wavering. Is anyone else experiencing this?
With the NFL you have a better understanding of the various teams. Plus the talent level in the NFL is lights out. Upsets are much more prevalent in the NFL than in CFB. I mean, the Eagles are 3-0 but could easily be 1-2 or 0-3 if not for some dropped passes and blocked field goals. There were some amazing games and finishes. Who saw a GB loss coming?
Just need the crows to lose on Monday and it will be a good weekend.Steelers win! Eagles win! Wait for it…. Cowboys lose!!!!! Great Sunday
Ehh...I was rooting for the Giants but I think the call was correct. My issue is that's not consistent with how it's being called.Just curious what other's thoughts were on the intentional grounding called against Russel Wilson in the 4th qtr. Theo Johnson was on the goal line and Russel threw the ball from the pocket, under duress, about 10 yds over Theo's head, but in a straight line over him. I thought the call was a stretch and a reason why I don't trust the NFL too much.
More Stella’s!!Just need the crows to lose on Monday and it will be a good weekend.
