Last time Boylan lost to Guilford was 2004. That might have been the year they went 2-7 under Appino. I'm really bummed about Boylan, but I like the parity and competitive games I'm seeing among the rest of the conference.

Still a lot of football left to be played, refreshing to see a conference race that is wide open mid-season! Auburn, Hononegah, Harlem, North, Belvidere, Guilford all still have a shot.

I think the last time they started a season was in the Fall of 2014.

As does 3-2 Freeport who beat Guilford soundly and plays Boylan this week.

Last time Boylan lost to Guilford was 2004. That might have been the year they went 2-7 under Appino. I'm really bummed about Boylan, but I like the parity and competitive games I'm seeing among the rest of the conference.

According to IHSA website Appino's worst record at Boylan was 4-5 in 2004 which was the only time Appino missed the playoffs at Boylan. In school history Boylan has only one time lower then 4 wins which they went 3-6. I'm going off the IHSA website so it may or may not be wrong.
