Not surprised by the upset win for Mike Riley's new Nebraska team. Good victory in Lincoln over Michigan State. It should be an interesting road trip to Rutgers for the Huskers.

I expect a good Saturday ahead at Night at Kinnick!

Black Friday game at Lincoln. The 2013 game was good in both Minneapolis and Lincoln. The 2015 game should be a good one, as well. Two more at Kinnick ahead of the showdown in Lincoln.

Iowa surely has turned some heads like the announcers said yesterday "No one I mean no one thought Iowa would be in the Playoff talk at the beginning of the season".

Last year Iowa didn't have a QB or Running back that made a difference. I think Ferentz son is helping in the play calling but Davis has improved from the last 2 years.

The 1981 Hawkeyes were special. The opening game vs. Nebraska (10-7 win was a beauty). Frankly, this team is very similar, but with balance on offense, defense and special teams. They 1981 team was all defense and special teams.

Mike Riley got a very nice win on Saturday. Kirk Ferentz vs. Mike Riley on Black Friday will be interesting game. I like Iowa's chances, but I have only seen the 1981 and 2013 wins in my life time, so not taking anything for granted on Black Friday.
