He's supposedly been on our campus looking at our team. I'd love to have him as DL coach and recruiting coordinator. Would anyone want an older wiser Orgeron as a head coach of the position came open?

Nice read, I would have paid good money to see that tennis match with him

popping his hamstring and then tearing down the net and entangling himself like a massive shrimp*.

If this year continues as it has, our staff is going to shake itself up. Just saying there's no way we don't lose an assistant on both sides of the ball this year.

Almost every Ole Miss fan I talk to still thinks not only were they justified in firing Cutcliffe, but were completely justified in the way they went about doing it.

Think we've got a pretty good DL coach with Coach Turner, but it would be nice to hire Orgeron in some capacity that would involve recruiting.

Dumbest decisions in mississippi sports history:

1. Msu baseball not allowing Grishams son to walk on
2. The firing of David citcliffe
3. The hiring of crooms

Not even close

1. Ole Miss holding on to the rebel flag until the mid 90s
2. Firing Rick Stansbury
3. Greg Byrne leaving Miss State for Arizona

2. Firing Rick Stansbury

immediately disproves the validity of your argument. I liked Rick Stansbury and appreciate all the good things he did here, but when you make your program such a dumpster fire that no decent head coach from another school will take the job, you need to go.

Bryce Drew would have taken the job, but we didn't offer him complete control over who his assistants would be.
