The dorm in front of Rice was completed last year, this is its first year housing residents. Right now it's called South Hall, since like Building III on the north side no one's given money to name it yet. 125,000 sq. ft. and 350 beds. I think it's neat that it has a band section within it for FMB members (called a "life-learning community).

Rice probably will stay for a while since the university spent the money to place doors on all floors to separate it half-women, half-men. They really need the space right now since freshmen are required to live on campus and MSU is growing. No idea whether they plan to keep Rice for the long term and renovate it or eventually tear it down. It's more solidly built than all of the new dorms.
Cresswell, Hamlin, and the Suttle site? No idea.
