Sucks he's going to stay down south. We needed him to visit Lincoln when it wasn't 40 degrees out.

Did the staff nonchalantly leave a car in their driveway? That's how they do it in the South!

No inside info but could tell from his pics he was freezing on his visit and it wasn't even that cold. Landing him would be awesome but I don't see it happening.

Yeah but Michigan is a top 5 team in the nation and has a top 5 recruiting class. Osu is cold too but they win titles. We don't have that luxury.

Meh....every recruit is going to be the guy that takes us to that next level then Michigan and Ohio can make excuses....Winking If he wants to play and make a difference he'll come to NU. IF he wants to ride the pine he'll go to Michigan or Ohio.

When I was out a couple of weekends ago a woman saw me wearing an NU jacket, came up to me and told me her son was being recruited heavily by NU. Given all the NCAA rules about contact with recruits I didn't want to say too much, but one question I did ask her was what she thought of how NU was recruiting her son. She said that she was very impressed with how NU was going about it. She paused for a second, and then said "they've probably impressed me the most."

Always good to have mom impressed.
