I know he had a knee injury. And he's expected to come back.<div>
</div><div>But has anyone put an expected time frame on his return? Is he out for the season? Or was it minor enough for him to get some reps this fall?</div>

we'll be ok a running back so it seems best to give him plenty of time to fully recover. it seems he has alot of potential so I'd rather sit him all this year so he can really contribute next season, after ballard's gone.

would be if we could also come up with a reason why his 2010 redshirt was a medical redshirt too. You don't get the 6th year unless BOTH of your redshirt years were medical redshirts. And you're right, even then it's not guaranteed, the committee has to approve it. I do think they usually try to give you the benefit of the doubt though.

If Griffin is going to be the inside guy, he really needs to get some PT to prepare for next year. Otherwise, the only RB we have coming back is Perkins and unfortunately you just can't use him the same way the staff uses Ballard or was planning to use Griffin..

Dude is coming in at 5-10 205 and could easily add another 10 pounds by his RFr year. Averaged a whopping 17 yards/carry at Hargrave Military.
