So is this an "official" non-binding commitment? Several months ago, Mullen spoke a lot about a commitment not being a commitment if they were going to keep going on official visits. With James still doing a few official visits, I wonder how Mullen looks at this.

He won't get in (grades) so it will not hurt for him to commit, and visit.

that he doesn't consider it a commitment if the player is still visiting other schools, and I 100% agree with that philosophy. However, I still think that Nick's commitment is great news for us. For one, even if it's not solid, any kind of commitment is better than not having one. Second and more importantly, if the "Big 4" or whatever your want to call them really are thinking about all going to the same school, it's can't do anything but help to have the first one's name attached to MSU.
