that's a HUGE red flag. Even bigger than the one that went up when Quay Evans got suspended in the regular season. The good news is schools like Bama and LSU will drop these kids like a hot potato. The bad news is, we might get stuck with them.

And I can definitely see that causing a blow up between him and a HS football coach, especially in South Mississippi. I'm not saying we don't still want him, or that Mullen and Balis couldn't work that *** into shape, but definitely an "attitude adjustment" needed. Grades, also an issue, so I could see us placing him at Perk for two years as well

Who cares if he ends up being a head case? As long as we get the recruiting class ranking boost, we'll be a better team for it in the long run!

His grades are fine now. It was a disagreement over a request he made to his coach for film. He needed it for an all star game and the coach wouldn't give it to him. Apparently Nick got PO'd and popped off atthe mouth like any good DT would. I have no worries about this guy. He's done everything he's supposed to do academically this year, has stayed out of any major trouble, and followed our coaches "you commit, you don't visit" rules unlike a couple of others.

I have no clue about this young man, but apparently you do. So, a question I have for you is about one word in your quote.<div>You say, "has stayed out of any majortrouble". That word implies he has been in trouble, and that could be of some concern. So, he has been in some minor trouble? Please clarify.

I just meant he hasn't been in trouble over anything other than this incident. By all accounts he's a good kid who's trying to do the right things.

As long as he doesn't slap around coeds or his professors, I'm glad we're getting a DT with a mean streak

and I would be careful before I lambast a kid for asking for a film which the All-Star committee requested. The coach dropped the ball and then Nick asked him where was the film and the coach got pissed. I don't think he is lazy either so whomever posted that I question whether you have seen him play. He can be a great player in college under Wilson who will help him mature and control his temper.

The "trouble" is most likely a reference to being suspended for a game this year and last. Both were for unneccessary roughness, late hits and the like. That is not MAJOR trouble. In fact I'm good with that. He's definitely emotional on the field and my guess is that our coaches can't wait for him to get to campus.
