Should have cut bait with him after Tutorgate and signed a point guard... defense was supposed to be his strong point and Tyree drops 40 on him.

Nick: 0pts 6 TO’s
Tyson: 3pts 4 TO’s
I’m not sure what has happened to Tyson the past couple games but he has really been struggling to provide anything on offense
Spoon is not a outside shooter and Carter has sucked this year as a shooter.
Combine that with average at best D from both o them and well you get what you got tonight.
Plus Ado is a 6-10 liability.
So you have Woodard, DJ and Perry and he can’t do it all himself - but he’s NBA ready now bc he doesn’t play hard nosed D
I 17ing love reading this board. The absolute extreme posts on both sides are comical. They make me feel the slightest bit better after watching that **** show of a second half.
Just a week ago, Nick was being hailed as a damn good around here for his great a/to ratio and how he had figured out the pass first score second mentality so many want in a PG.
Here we are now and he is being ripped to shreds for not scoring enough and we should have kicked him off the team apparently.
I love this board. Absurdism is such fun humor and this place is drowning in it.
Yep this. We just needed a game manager from some non P5 school or whatever that can distribute the ball well. Nick is a 2 guard that can get to the basket and finish, because he has a ton of athleticism, but he’s not a PG. I miss his shooting ability tho. Seems like he was money from mid range and could hit also the 3 his freshman year. Now he rarely hits any jumpers at all. I remember seeing a segment last year where he changed his shot. That seems to have backfired, and he was a much better shooter prior to that change. This was a huge oversight on Howland’s part. We have no legitimate PG on the entire active roster, and there is no excuse that could come out of our coach’s mouth that would explain why he didn’t go grab a grad transfer.
We don’t need anything near an elite level guy. We just need a kid that can run an offense, and there were plenty available
