Nickoe! Another thread & deservingly so.

As mentioned in another thread, Mullen said Nickoe is having surgery next week. Said he had the option to go ahead and have surgery and get ready for the combine or play on. Nickoe wanted to keep going. Hats off to this guy.


Not only that, tonight he became the nations leader among active players in career interceptions with 15. That's pretty impressive.

Nickoe saved the last two games of the year. Ripping the ball away from a strong Arkansas rb and keeping it and the stripping the OM qb just feet away from the goal line in overtime. He has sealed his legacy as one of the all time greats in my book.

He single handedly gave us the momentum back in Our State.

Not to mention a couple of great plays in the Bama & A&M games. One of them preventing a TD for Bama, as Nickoe leaped up and tipped a pass that would have been caught. I agree, he goes down as one of the greats. In there with Smoot, Banks, PIG.
