...is our best DB since Anthony Johnson - who was our best DB since Fred Smoot.

He is an outstanding tackler that doesn't allow yards after contact. His INT last night was totally badass.

He shouldn't have allowed an 89 yard touchdown pass though.

He made a great play on the last defensive play. It was a great playcall by petrino, though, to catch whitley leaning toward the sideline on the next play wanting another one. He had no chance to cover the seam. But he'll learn. And he has made some absolutely outstanding plays this year.

Among the best we have ever had. He was a good qb
In high school which prepares you well for the safety position
Because you need to try to anticipate what the qb is going to do.
Nickoe thinks like a qb and hits like a linebacker.

Zac "Toast"Smith. He's even listed on our commits list as a QB.That theory doesn't always work. It canwork ifa kidhas talent, but it isn't something you live and die by.

like a 1A school in Alabama.

We have 2 DB commits that played QB this year for their teams in the Zach Jackson (Heidleburge) and Justin Cox (West Point).

But I think zach has good instincts and would be very
Successful in conference usa. He is simply physically overmatched
In the sec. He doesn't have enough speed, add thirty lbs and
Retain his speed and you would have a decent linebacker.

What do they all have in common? Graduates of Provine High School. That's pretty impressive.

The last time Madison Central lost a district game, it was to Provine and Whitley was the QB.

Also, Eugene Clinton came from Provine, as well as Tommy Kelly, Otis "IT is coming" Riddley, and 400 pound Monte Collins, who was the coaches son.

They are by far the best JPS high school football program in terms of consistency.
