1 thing that can finally be put to bed - Wenyen is not a wing player. You can see how he moves + the skillset, he has no business playing/defending wings.

Is this the next version of the stupid "slow walk" post?

He played PF and C all day.... ...and only got the ball in his hands on the perimeter like 3-4 times. Thats not enough to judge that he's not a wing.

I can bet my entire life that Cal will play Wenyen at PF for majority of the season.

Cal isnt stupid.

There is someone stupid alright and its not Cal nor is it I.

You said he has no ability to play the 3. So the bet is he has to play PF the entire time.. You want to bet that and I'll put 1000$ on it right now. you game?

No, because i know how Cal will work this.

He'll start off the season experimenting Wenyen at SF. Once that fails & he realizes how that idea was foolish, he'll pull the cord & stick at PF full-time where he belonged.

Bam is the prominent PF, that much is fact...then along with WG there's SCJ, plus you have Hump, Wynard and Lee if he returns.
Which of that group is going to play the stretch 3 over Gabriel?

If Briscoe comes back you have the 3 as an interchangeable position IMO based on matchup.

Go big:
Fox
Monk
Gabriel
Adebayo
Lee

Go small:
Fox
Monk
Briscoe
Gabriel
Adebayo

You are basically just saying that you are smarter than Calipari. And my response to that is

He's showed way more ability to play the 3 than Lyles........ remind me again what position Lyles played? LOL yep the 3.

Wow, you're doign yourself no favors here.

- Lyles had no choice but to play SF b/c of the stupid frontlow depth.

- Lyles handles, coordination + passing are better than Gabriel's.

- Lyles at SF MURDERED our floor spacing. We were just so big & talented, we still found ways to get buckets.

3 bigs lineups are brutal for everyone involved.

Lyles didnt murder our floor spacing you tool. He hit jump shots out to like 20 ft. That pulled defenders out.

Gabriel took 1 shot and missed it and from that you act as if he cant hit any jump shots.

Lyles at the 3 .... remind me what the record of that team was the first 38 games

Why are you ignoring the talent on that team? One of the most talented squads to ever play CBB.

We dont have that this yr. So we cant afford throwing out bad lineups.

Man, talk about going full-retard...

One reason Cal won't get Ferguson is we are at 13 players now and he is still going hard after Bolden. Also, when Monk is hot he is just as good from 3 point land. We saw that in the McDonald's All-American 3 point contest that Monk won this year. I have seen Monk a few times this year on ESPN and he is a great outside shooter and from 3-point. Fox isn't that bad from outside and from 3 either. They have both been on ESPN this year a few times and even in the games with Fox scoring 30 and 40 points and was hitting the outside shot and 3point shot. We need Briscoe this summer to work on his outside shot and become better shooting from the outside. With Fox, Monk, and Willis we will be fine from outside shooting. Monk and Willis will shoot well from 3 next year. We will be fine.

The people who've studied his game longer than all of us have made it super clear he's not a wing player. Dunno why you guys ignore that & just run w/ Cal's words like always.

Its not hard to pass Cal IQ-wise on the offensive department. just sayin...

I'd settle for IB to become a dead-eye from the stripe and break even more ankles attacking the rim.

By the way........ there is a check list on if you can play the wing and it goes like this

Can you shoot the ball well enough to keep defenders honest.... Check

Can you drive the ball to the basket ....... check

Can you defend the 3 spot .......... check

If you dont think he's fast enough to guard 3's... then you werent watching him play defense at all

Also ... if you mention ball handling..... remember you cant drive to the basket without ball handling

Where did it say he cant play SF?

at no point has this been an argument about where he'll play in the NBA.....

I never said that. Let me repeat myself for the 3rd time - Its made super clear he's not one when you add up his flaws/

You know whats hilarious, DX makes no mention of him playing on the wings or put SF as his position because he's so far away from that its not even on their minds. Only people who think he can are UK fans bc Cal said so.
