You could not be more opposite in handling pitchers than Bianco and Lemonis. Guess we will find out in June which approach was best.

....was how they adapted to this umpire and how we refused to. Skinner’s last at bat was a prime example.... ball comes in off the plate enough for him to try to move, he moves out of the way, strike 3. That happened several times today.

We either needed to stop crowding the plate or just swing the 17ing bat. When you can’t rely on consistency from the umpire, swing the 17ing bat on anything you can. Of course, we swung for the fences far too many times, as well.... it was a pathetic day at the plate.

Bednar was awful. If you’re trying to throw junk against an umpire that won’t call a strike that’s on the outside corner, it’s on you.

Their pitcher did a great job, and they beat the **** out of us today. But our coaching staff was garbage today all around.

He mixes pitches. Looks to have more spin on his FB. We dont throw offspeed enough. We rely way too much on FB at times. And today Bednar either missed big or left it out over. Id love to see us start Harding tomorrow.
