The Mississippi State Athletics Department is currently considering long-term improvements to Davis Wade Stadium, Dudy Noble Field and Humphrey Coliseum. As part of this process, we have retained CSL International to conduct a feasibility study to assess potential new seating options that would enhance the gameday experience for Bulldog fans and provide additional revenues to position Mississippi State Athletics for competitive excellence in the SEC and nationally for years to come.

In order to best suit the needs of Bulldog Club members, season ticketholders and corporate partners, we are soliciting input on what seating options would be most attractive to Bulldog fans. Specifically, we are conducting a survey regarding your satisfaction with the existing football, baseball and basketball facilities, as well your potential interest in seating offerings that could be included in renovated facilities.

We seek your guidance and opinions at this critical moment as we assess the future of Mississippi State Athletics and the ability of Bulldog fans and our corporate partners to support potential facility renovations. Please keep in mind that planning for potential facility renovations is a multi-year process. Answer the questions in this survey with a long-term economic perspective and the assumption that the economy will operate under typical historical patterns. Your time, insight and advice are deeply appreciated.

it is long, about 85-90 questions, but I would recommend everyone taking 5 minutes to fill it out.

DS, or any other mod - can we get a sticky for this?

way to long, half the people that start to fill it out are going to quit halfway through the damn thing.

think it is you need to get your ADD meds adjusted.

I liked the boxes that were between private suites and club seating. Very good idea.

The length of the survey depends on your answers. I don't make it up there for basketball and baseball, so it skipped all the basketball and baseball questions. I could also tell I was being steered to various football questions based on football-related answers to some of the early questions.

Maybe 20 questions total for me.

Two thumbs up for the Ninja. I am glad they are doing this.

The aluminum wall in the outfield for a batter's eye, the high school bleachers in the north end zone, the fact that our baseball skyboxes flood, our horrible bathrooms and concessions at football games, the cramped concourse in the Hump, the deck that collapsed in right field, the aluminum bleachers at DNF, the fact that we have to rip up our field to get one that actually drains 22 years after we built a new grandstand.....

Think about all that and help a brother out and press on.

I cannot believe people are bitching about how long the survey is. Under the previous administration, there was no such thing as a survey and everyone bitched about how LT didn't give a crap what the regular fans thought.

And unless you are some sort of mental midget, it only takes 10 minutes to fill out at the most.

I took it, and I thought it was excellent. Yeah, it's lengthy, but what else is there to do tonight? Watch Big Brother? I'll pass...

I thought it was very enlightening to see what the Athletic Dept has been mulling over, and I agree with everything that they are throwing out there. I just hope they don't screw with the outfield of Dudy NOble

I just think it is nice that he is getting fans input after years and years of LT not giving a damn.

It was a little repetitive but served a good purpose. I wish they had an option for "If I was to fall *** backwards into money." If they had that, I would have answered the survey differently.

Spent most of the time trying to get my point across without whining, swearing or being sarcastic. Damn that was hard!

I really like everything Byrne is doing and has done. It'll be intresting to the see the changes that come about from this.

The survey is a good thing. But it was very long. I felt like i was doing TPS reports or something. By the way, its about time to let LT go.... just let him go.

is because there is so much that needs to be done. If LT had done his job, the survey would be a lot shorter.

but since I'm a student I don't think my input is really needed or helps. Hell I consider it premium seating if I'm far enough from the frat boys that they don't hit me with their cowbells as they slip from their drunken fingers.

Oh that note, could we get some nifty little wrist things (see nintendo wiimotes) for drunk people to ensure I stay conscious through the entire game?

that isn't the case here. Bringing LT into this is totally valid. For one thing, we are comparing Byrne to LT. For another, it is obvious that LT never did anything like this, and the fans complained about that, thus you have both of those points being brought up. Finally, as someone else pointed out, because we did barely the minimum (and in some cases not even that much) to our facilities, there is a crapload that needs to be done and thus we have a lot to consider.

If you think a long survey is a problem then you really have only one person to blame - Larry Templeton. Byrne, while not perfect either, is at least feigning interest in what we think and has an eye to seriously upgrade our facilities, which is badly needed. The degradation of DNF is downright criminal.

I'll take red bull cans and cups of coke and whiskey like a champ, but at the auburn game dude beside me literally got clunked in the head by a cowbell. His friends had to pretty much carry him out.

and the wiimote thing was a joke, lets not have the salem nerd trials here

Great survey, albeit long. Great to see what exactly is running through the minds of the powers that be. We've all talked about the Boxes and Club levels but I never thought of the Loge boxes. Great additions as well. Also gives a pretty good idea of the thoughts of the North Endzone renovation.

Looks like it depends on what you answer to the premium seating questions that determines the length. I said I wasn't interested in any of the premium seating and it took me 5 minutes tops. Maybe one day when I have cowbells money.......

however, I'm sure what happened to your friend has happened in the student section away the "frat boys" on other occasions. I've been out of college for 3 years and I'd love to sit up there in the student section. It gets pretty wild. If you can't hang, go buy season tickets and sit in the upper deck.

But i think im good, I've been fine there two years I think i can make it two (or three) more. Sorry if the frat guy reference hit a nerve, I'm not a greek hater or anything but looking at the past few years the belligerent drunks I see tend to be greek. Oh and it's really not that hard to get in the student section I bring my brother in there often. You just need a friend who goes to the university, you aren't so long removed you don't have that do you? If not I'd be happy to get you in there

you complained about drunk frat boys losing their grip on cowbells in the student section but the thing is cowbells are all over the stadium during a game and they don't only slip from the hands of people in the student section. the blue hair may knock you out. you never know.

maybe you should take the advice above and watch in the library on your iphone. it is a much safer environment.

my comment was strickly geared towards the people whose cowbells are likely to hit me, since I like good seats and the gameday atmosphere I sit as close as possible to the fifty and as close to the front as possible. This usually puts one or two frats right behind me (the others usually post up in the back corner); my comment, which was not complaining but was actually meant to be humorous, joked about me trying to sit where these guys cowbells won't fly out of their hands and hit me. You made a valid point in general, but a stupid one pertaining to my comment. My reply was a nice way to say "hey stupid, why's a grandma in the student section"

maybe you are just too dumb to comprehend simple questions on a survey. or you read at a 2nd grade level. I'm just guessing.

I mean, really, folks. This is a great thing the Ath Dept is trying to do here, and it is a complete departure from the previous administration. Instead of whining that it had more than 3 questions, everyone should be thankful that this administration "gets it." In other words, if you think the survey was too long, you're probably one of those lame-*** people that whine about the kickoff time of the football games, too.
