And yes, UT is going to blow up the assistant salaries like Bama did for head coaching salaries. Orgeron makes something like $700K as a D-line coach.

Last year we lost Tracy Rocker to Auburn because they were offering him more money as a position coach than we were paying either of our coordinators. If UGA offers Nix $750K, we'll be looking for a new DC unless we are planning on boosting our assistant pay significantly across the board.

I would definately leave for UGA considering what Ole Miss is losing personnel wise, not to mention the salary increase.

If I was a UGA fan, I would definately be worried about his defense stopping the option since they have to play GT every year. I know what GT does is totally different than us, but it's certainly worriesome. Especially with Paul Johnson on their side.
